Rogue River Valley - Oregon Travel Guide
Rogue River - Southern Oregon Attractions
Rogue River
The Rogue River is a designated National Scenic River, and formed much of the backdrop for the Meryl Streep movie "The River Wild." Jet boat trips and white water rafting are very popular.
Grants Pass
The town of Grants Pass is the gateway to the Rogue. Don't forget your fishing pole there either. Local guides and jet boat tours will make sure you have a good time.
Oregon Caves National Monument
The Oregon Caves National Monument is a small but interesting set of caverns. Instead of limestone, water action has carved them out of marble. They are smaller than many caves, but very pretty.
The Tree House bed and breakfast
On your way to the Oregon Caves, you might stop in Cave Junction at The Tree House bed and breakfast, which actually has guest rooms built in huge trees.
It's definitely one of the most unusual sleeping spots in America.
